The plan was for me to ride my first century bike ride (that's 100 miles.) Post ride picture with a rock.

The rio grande.

Huge hill. And guess what awaited me at the top????
My first flat tire. I could see the rest stop, so instead of trying to fix it on my own, I walked the 3/4ths of a mile and had this guy fix it. Then while refueling myself, part of my clip on my shoe fell off. Bad luck!

Looking west to the Sandia Mountains which are over 10,000 feet above sea level. I was on the mesa east of Albuquerque.

At the third to last rest stop my dreams of riding my first century were crushed. I was told there would be no more water at the last two rest stops because I took too long. I did make 70 miles though!
